Draco

Draco’s playstyle depends on your and enemy team compositions a lot. But generally, he can be a hybrid during the game; In his normal form, you should just worry about getting your super - that means being passive while you’re in the basic form. After you get your super, you can be as aggressive as you want. With the healing from your Star Power and the invincibility from your Gadget, Draco can be a killing machine.

Draco is usually played in close ranged maps, but with a good composition can be played anywhere. His best modes are Hot Zone and Brawl Ball; His super helps him maintain area control and punish enemy overcomitting, which makes him perfect for those 2 modes.

Damage (Effective): By far the best Draco gear, because you’ll benefit a lot while using super. Combining this with your “Last Stand” gadget will make you a fantastic tank, as it makes you unable to die for 2 seconds - while you get a damage boost. This will change a lot more interactions than you think.

Gadget Cooldown Gear (Effective): 2nd best gear for Draco, being able to use “Last Stand” 4 times will be crucial as Draco.

Health (Effective): Draco has very high HP, making this a good gear for him. Can be used in more open maps with a good team composition.

Speed (Effective): Very good for closing the gap between his opponents. Stacks with the speed boost from his super. Definitely needed in bushy maps.

Shield (Ineffective): 900 more HP for a tank? Yeah, don’t use this.

Vision (Ineffective): Any brawler who has a short range doesn’t benefit from Vision. This includes Draco too, so don’t use it.

One of the most useful mechanics he has is wall peeking - you can poke a tiny bit through corners with your attack while in base form. Try to use it as much as you can to get your super.

Draco deals double the damage at max range in his normal form, as well as gets double the super charge; Prioritize max range hits!

Draco's super has a short animation before he enters dragon form. Enemies can cancel the super transformation in that short period of time, so be careful when activating your super.

Draco can charge his super while in his dragon form, regaining half of his ammo by using it while in dragon form. Extra important when combined with the Shredding Star Power!

Try attacking and quickly moving any direction when you’re fighting in your normal form. It’ll make your basic attack have more range due to the delay.

Draco’s “Upper Cut” Gadget can be a disadvantage for you because enemies cannot be hit while they’re in air. Even though it’s not the preferred gadget, it’s still useful to know. It's also worth noting that it knocks the ball out of enemy hands in modes like Brawl Ball!

Draco's "Expose" Star Power works on the Heist safe. Worth trying on closed maps!

Draco has a unique mechanic which gives him a 15% damage reduction during his super, so don’t be afraid to take some damage from enemies while you’re in dragon form - especially as it works with the tank trait.

Draco's flames in the dragon form are controlled just like Amber's main attack - you can swiftly go autoaim it by dragging your joystick to the center!

Draco’s “Upper Cut” gadget can cancel supers of brawlers like Carl, Buzz, Maisie, Pearl, Meg (while transforming to Mecha from) etc.

Being a tank, Draco's main synergy is with any healing, but the one worth talking about is Poco - his Protective Tunes Gadget cancels enemy Crowd Control, allowing Draco to wipe them out uninterrupted.
