How do I check in?
To check in, first click the "Register on Matcherino" button above to go to the Matcherino event page.
Mobile: Once check-in opens, tap the "Navigation" tab at the bottom of the Matcherino app, then select "Check In."
Desktop: On the Matcherino event page, look for the "Check In" button in the left sidebar and click it.
Note: You must check in on Matcherino before the deadline or your team will be disqualified.
How do I ready up my team?
After registering, go to your team page on the Matcherino event website (use the "Register on Matcherino" button above if you're not already there).
Click the "Ready" button for your team before your match starts. If your team does not ready up within 10 minutes, it will be disqualified. If you have trouble readying up, contact a tournament admin in the TOG Discord server as soon as possible.
How do I join my match?
Once your match is ready, you will receive an in-game invite. To ensure you receive the invite, exit all Brawl Stars lobbies and matches, and make sure "Mute team invites" is turned off in your game settings. Both teams must be marked as "Ready" on Matcherino before invites are sent.
My team has been readied for 10 minutes and the enemy has not readied. What do I do?
If your team is ready but your opponents have not readied up on Matcherino after 10 minutes, use the "Report" function on the Matcherino event page or notify a tournament admin in the TOG Discord server. If the enemy team is not automatically disqualified, an admin will remove them.
Both teams are ready, but we have not received an invite. What do I do?
If both teams are marked as "Ready" on Matcherino but you have not received an in-game invite, report the issue on the Matcherino event page or in the TOG Discord. An admin will reset the match and resend the invite. If the problem continues, notify an admin again for further assistance.
What's this about pins?
You can earn special Brawl Stars pins by either contributing $5 or more to a qualifying Matcherino event or by winning the event. Pins are distributed through Matcherino and credited to your Brawl Stars Player Tag.
Where do I contribute to get a pin?
Go to the Matcherino event page (use the "Register on Matcherino" button above), click the gold "Contribute" button, and donate at least $5.00. Be sure to enter your Brawl Stars Player Tag when prompted. Pins are usually credited within 10 business days.
I won a tournament, but didn't get a pin. How come?
Not all tournaments award a winner's pin. Only events that specifically mention a winner's pin will distribute one. Please check the event details to confirm pin eligibility.
I won a tournament, but I am yet to receive payouts. How come?
Payouts are typically sent through Matcherino as soon as the tournament ends. If you haven't received your payout within 24 hours, open a ticket in the TOG Discord server and notify an admin.
Matcherino does not support my payment method, but I still want to donate. How can I do so?
If your preferred payment method isn't supported on Matcherino, contact Matcherino support directly for assistance. Alternatively, reach out to Hardy in the TOG Discord server to arrange a manual contribution.
What is the waitlist?
The waitlist allows teams that join the Matcherino event after the participant list is full to have a chance to play if a registered team is disqualified before the tournament starts. Waitlisted teams are added in the order they joined.
My team isn't complete, will it be replaced by a waitlist team?
Yes. If your team is not complete by the start of check-in on Matcherino, it will be removed and replaced by the next eligible team on the waitlist.
My team is on the waitlist but is complete, and some participant teams aren't. Will my team play?
If participant teams are not filled by check-in, complete waitlist teams will be moved into the main bracket. If all participant teams are filled, waitlist teams will not play.
Do I have to check-in if I'm on the waitlist?
Yes! All waitlist teams must check in on Matcherino to be eligible to play if a spot opens up.
Why can't admins increase the number of playable teams for the waitlist?
The bracket size is determined by the number of teams that can be accommodated. TOG staff may increase the bracket size if there are enough dropped teams, but this is not guaranteed for every event.
Do free agents count as members of the waitlist?
No. Only complete teams on the waitlist are eligible to be moved into the main bracket if a spot opens up.
