Jacky is a very aggressive tank brawler, and in fact the best tank when it comes to midrange matchups, due to her ability to pull in opponents to quickly eliminate them. Jacky’s gameplay style consists of hiding behind walls and charging super until the right moment comes to strike, going in for a gadget + super + hypercharge combination play.

Jacky's hypercharge fits her playstyle of "one good play to win the game" insanely well. When you go in, Hypercharge allows you to win interactions barely staying alive where you would have died instead without the hypercharge. It is absolutely fine to suicide a lot with Jacky to charge super/hypercharge in order to make a last-minute play to win the game.

A power 11 Jacky can deal (2,480 * 3)+ (10,000*30%) = 10,440 damage with three shots and full HP so she can 3 shot every brawler except for Frank, El Primo, Sam, Darryl, and Rosa.

Speed (Effective): Always recommended as you want to play Jacky on maps with a lot of walls and grass. By far the best Gear for her as it helps her dodge easier and close the gap to the opponents much faster

Damage (Effective): The other Gear I would always suggest using to increase Jacky's damage output even further, as her higher health pool allows for more uptime on this Gear.

Health (Situational): Would recommend using if damage isn’t something that you have concerns about (for instance, on more open maps against brawlers that you can 3-shot). Best in combination with Hardy Hard Hat Star Power and Shield Gear.

Shield (Ineffective): Can provide some extra HP and (up to) 180 more damage, wouldn’t recommend using it except in combination with Hardy Hard Hat Star Power or on very open maps.

Vision (Ineffective): The vision from receiving Counter Crush damage should be enough to see if you can hit opponents, making this Gear less Effective than the others. Plus, if you've hit the opponent, you already know where they are.

Gadget Charge Gear (Situational): Basically Speed Gear on Wish. Use only when playing Jacky on maps with very few/no bushes. Since you shouldnt do that anyways, worse option than Speed Gear

Super Charge (Effective): Helps you charge the Hypercharge much faster so it is highly recommended.

Press green button, press yellow button, press red button 3 times - congrats you’re a Jacky main now, WOOOOO!

No but in all seriousness, there isn’t a lot of mechanical skill involved when playing Jacky, her difficulty comes from knowing which matchups to take, when to go in and where to go. That being said, it's recommended to aim with Jacky (pulling your Auto Attack/super button to see if opponents are in range).

Using your super also causes enemies to drop the ball in Brawl Ball (good for defense), and can also be used to pull enemies to you so that you can shoot the ball past them into the goal, since they are not able to pick up the ball/do anything temporarily.

Understanding when to use the Rebuild gadget is one of the hardest parts about Jacky's gameplay, but you shouldn’t really find yourself in a situation where you would need to use it anyways.

Counter Crush deals damage within a ⅓-tile area larger than her attack area, so it gives you some additional range. It also hits enemies in bushes causing vision gear to activate, even though this gear is not recommended.

Jacky’s super can cancel supers such as Carl, Maisie, and Frank’s super.

Pairing Jacky’s super with splash damage, especially with heavy hitting attacks (e.g. Dynamike’s super) can deal insane amounts of damage.

Poco: Poco can heal Jacky so that she survives longer and can do more damage with auto attacks, the additional HP counts towards more counter Crush damage and Poco can also hit targets close to Jacky, which is especially juicy with Jacky’s super pulling in (multiple) enemies.

Gray: One thing Jacky struggles with is getting close to the enemies. Gray’s TP enables Jacky to teleport into opponents and close the gap quickly.

Tara: Tara’s super can pull in multiple opponents and synergizes well with Jacky’s ability to deal lots of splash damage in a short timeframe.

Dynamike: Jacky’s super pulling in multiple opponents synergizes well with Dynamike’s super to deal an insane amount of damage while your opponents are totally helpless.

Frank: Jacky’s super pulling in multiple opponents synergizes well with Frank’s super to stun multiple opponents, buying you enough time to defeat them all.
